When I try to calibrate my turntables in Traktor Scratch Duo, I get more of an oval shape than a circle shape. In the manual it doesn't really give any help with this. Anybody have an suggestion on what to do?
Basically one of your channels is louder than the other.
At the end of the tone arm disconnect the headshell/cart and clean the contacts. Even lick your finger and rub them (this sometimes helps)..
Might fix the problem

Got 'em fixed. Thanks nelly...one more thing since I see you post quite a bit in here...I'm clueless on speaker brands and I am looking for some decent pretty cheap ones to use, any suggestions?

All depends mate, what do you want to use them for? what's your budget?
Are they just going to be used as a pair of monitors for you to play in your bedroom? Or would you like to be able to take the speaker along to a house party etc? Makes a big difference.
Let me know and I'll dig up some info from previous posts. Search function might throw up a few options but let me know what your budget is and what you intend to use the speakers for

I would only be using them for bedroom practicing so they dont need to be overly loud and my budget is about $100-$200...I wouldn't even care about buying used ones if that matters at all. Also, I searched and found only 1 post about speakers but it was about needing speakers for parties and such. Thanks for the help.
