In the box? I guess if you want a sound that is just that.

Although those synths you have aren't anything amazing. Get a nord lead or waldorf synth.

You're so clueless man. It really irritates people when you try enforcing your beliefs on hardware on everyone.

Everyone is different. There are many advantages to both and I honestly believe that if you're talented you can get equal sounds out of either method.

He gave him good advice, OP's synths really arent worth a "screw hardware im going in the box" statement. Its like...someone who eats on paper plates says screw paper plates, im gonna go styrofoam.

Going from hardware to software is the wrong direction at this point in time, maybe 3-5 years ago a shift made sense, but I think the future is very competitive sound wise, and at the very least a hybrid hardware+software setup will be needed to compete with the top producers, and attract the top labels.

I think good music that stand outs will compete with top producers and attract the top labels, no matter what you use to make it

Lol yay thread hijack haha. And hey alanzo long time no see. There's still alot of hardware synths we have that digitaly interface with our daw ie virus ti. But a majority of our release are software. The synths were trying to get rid of are just collecting dust in the studio lol. So we wanted to approch trance addict etc and offer the gear here before we listed on eBay.

The Filter Factory is a pretty cool unit. I had one years ago (and their vocoder) and, if I had the space/need for one, I might consider it, but unfortunately I don't. Anyway, the Electrix stuff is built like tanks and are great for extreme mangling. Anyone looking for a good hardware filter should consider it.
