i wouldn't say disappointing, just a little hit and miss
compared to the absolute quality of the last few months though i got no problem with a slight dip in form hehe
the protonica tune, first track of turbo mix, is on the extrasensory 2 compilation, it's hawwt.
didn't really like that new anton one, 'sabbath'. that astral remix doesn't quite grab me as much as i thought it would too i might need to give it a few goes.
protoculture tune sounded pretty nice!
with the whole "i got an untitled cd-r, i'll try and track it down' thing, what you do guys think of that? i mean listening that tune at the end of the turbo mix, it just screams wizzy noise to me. is it really unknown or just a testing of the waters?
excited about collaborating with m.i.k.e. though!!
anton's guest mix started off well but i think got a little unnecessarily technoey towards at parts, it was a bit fast for that kind of sound. i liked anton's guest mix last year a lot better. but it might grow on me.
what was the track after 'ace ventura - genesis', 102 mins in, makes me think of a new liquid soul one a bit? anyway i want it haha.
so yeah, overall a bit hit and miss hehe
