What do you mean by "final"? AFAIK Windows 7 is currently only available as a "release candidate" and the official version won't be available until October 22.

Hi cryophonik,

on October 22 is the public release of the final version. MSDN Subscribers or in my case students via MSDNAA (Academic Alliance) already have access to the final version.

Windows 7 RTM is available. I just don't know that it's available publicly. I got it through my job, so maybe it's only a corporate thing. Then again, I work at a computer company...so maybe it's just a computer industry thing?

Whatever, I'm running it on my comp anyways.

why not type in the drivers you need in google search and see what comes up

You could try vista drivers.

try the vista drivers. they work almost always in windows 7 aswell.

ok, i'll give the vista drivers a try. but it seems like there is some additional configuration to do according to this forum entry:

so what the dif between the RC and the new version? i think RC works good so far but havent really tried installing alot of stuff.
