Hey guys!

This is my first mix ever! I've been mixing for almost a month now.

Its a banging Electro House mix. I put in all of my exciting tracks so there's never really any boring part that you would want to skip over.

I would really appreciate any comments/criticism/feedback/guidance given. I want to know if I should keep on mixing or just give up now. Are my transitions smooth? Were my effects ok? Was there anything wrong with it? How can I improve?

Thank you so much guys!

A few things:

1. When you list the tracks, the artist name should always go first. i.e 'Deadmau5 - Not Exactly'.

2. If you're going to make a set, 14 minutes isn't very long and most people probably won't be interested in something of that length.

3. Some of the tracks only go for 2 minutes. That is stupidly short. If you're doing a 'normal' mix of this kind of music, you should aim for between 10-15 tracks an hour, not 30! Let each track play for longer before you mix in and out.

4. Don't post up music in wave format. It is a large file and pointless when you have probably recorded this from mp3s anyway.

I like it when people actually give useful advice instead of putting on their elitist mask.

Thank you for this.

Thanks for the advice. Just wondering though, what music would YOU recommend?

Seeing as how you're just starting out, start by sampling the giant platter of EDM. Get yourself acquainted with all sorts of genres and see what kind of music you like.

And practice, practice, practice.
