Remix Our Vocal Trance Song!

Alright, as promised, here is the remix pack for 'Telescope' featuring Avonlea Montague. In the pack, you'll find a README.txt file with the rules and track info, a 192kbps mp3 of the original version, a folder containing WAV files of the vocal parts, and a folder containing MIDI clips of the key instrument parts.

Olympik Records has graciously offered to host a competition in which remixers can submit their versions and Olympik Records will choose several of the remixes for distribution through several online music portals. The proceeds will go to a charity (good thinking, zodiac9!) to be determined at a later date. The details and deadline for the 'competition' portion will be announced as soon as we figure them out. In the meantime, download the files and get remixing!

Competition rules:

Competition closes July 20th - Winners will be announced July 24th

Upon conclusion, winners must provide WAV of the winning track at -6db

Release date has been set, August 4th.

All submissions MUST be emailed (links only) to [email protected]

If you do not submit your mix in this manner it will not be considered.

I downloaded the pack and the vocals sound funny is that the way there supposed to be in the song, it's like if there tremlo a little?

Do you have a clear sample of them by any chance

There's an mp3 of the original song in the root folder - is that what you're looking for?

BTW - yes, Avonlea does sing with a little vibrato.

did you autotune her? it seems that the ooohh words sound a bit modulated? Searching for yoouwwwww,

I really like her voice BTW you're lucky!

There's no deadline as of yet. When we work out the details of the charity gig, we'll announce a deadline, but that's probably several weeks away so you've got plenty of time.

I did some light pitch correction in a few places, but you're probably hearing her vibrato (?). And, yes, I am lucky to be working with her!
