Anybody else get tickets for this?

Danny Howells and Lee Burridge (for free) in the dance tent seems a big coup, and Franz Ferdinand, Holy F*ck, Public Enemy, and Wale should be a lot of fun too. I'm skeptical about the crowd, since it's at Merriwether Post Pavilion (Columbia, MD), but I'll probably leave during Blink 182 to beat most of the crowd out.

Definitely a good alternative to the more expensive summer festivals. They gave away all the first round of tickets, but are supposed to be opening up another round of distribution at 11 AM - check the website above for more details if interested.

Anyway, Howells + Burridge for free... figured I should do my part to spread the good word.

That's pretty cool that they're doing it free. You can see the consequences of a free show though, if you compare the line up of the dance tent from last year to this....

Last year was filled with Hawtin, Lawler, Underworld, Ferry Corsten, Armin, etc..

Lee and Danny are better than those guys unless you've never seen Underworld before

Yeah... other than Underworld, I'd probably pass on the others you listed. And to be honest, the main stage looks better than last year, too. Instead of the bloated egos of Kanye and STP, you get Franz Ferdinand, The Bravery, Jet, Wale, Public Enemy, Holy F*ck.
