err , cheers for the feedback msz , but what the hell are you on about?

preset much? whats that mean? cool sounding track , you suck?

i lol'd

well ill give a run down on how its made

sequenced in FL

Kick and percs are from sample packs i bought from vipzone and freebie ones i picked up.

Bass is from Vanguard , the preset i started from was BSTrancebass and did alot of work to make the bass.Changed pretty much everything.

Background pad is from the roland SH-201 , yes hardware.Preset A-3 modified the envelope with some filter cutoff. It is also automated in FL with a filter on the channel which is automated.

Arp is also from Vanguard , LDcorsten with some work done to it.

The plucks are Nexus , Sub menu single layer leads , Plucking synth3 , EQ'ed And compressed.

Some FX are from samples , one i made with Crystal , then filtered.

And for originality , there probably isnt any , and it may sound generic , but this is the type of sound i remember from when i used to really enjoy trance . Some people might not like it , but yet some people might not like the very very very generic sound of today , so im glad i can make something that i can listen to that is new and to my taste. And if some other people can enjoy it too , then thats a bonus.

But ill be honest , i dont like todays trance , to much midbass , to much fancywork and not enough melody and massive hooklines.

Sorry you didnt like it msz

Yeah but come on , i listen to stuff all the time pro and unsigned and i can hear nexus all over as well as vanguard and v station etc....ive even been at gigs and heard nexus , not even covered up or modified , its usually the arps section.

This is why i try mostly to alter the presets and i really do , but ive had the midi for this track for about a year and one day i just put it on nexus and had a bit of a play and i thought the plucks sounded good , so i made the tune.

but im a bit miffed you think all of it is preset , because it isnt.

But obviously you can pick out stuff because you may use it yourself , same as i do.

But anyways i put my hand in the preset cookie jar and got caught , i shall now talk wisely about presets.
