theres just too much of this kinda shit in the mainstream. its been said before but never in the history of popular music do I remember disliking so many songs at one time.

yes. fill people's heads up with something enough and they'll slowly start to like it. especially when they have no alternative. in reality everyone does but they're too lazy to delve further.

You hear it enough times and everyone else likes it so your brain assumes it is good if it is being called good and then you start to enjoy it. Just a giant placebo effect.
