nah james still plays a wikid mix of genres as he always has. I dont buy the talk about he was better in 06/07 shit. Ive got his work from then and his work from now and they are both equally as impressive. Have you listened to his new renaissance cd that just came out ? Fucking sick.

I love the first CD from it, don't like the second at all.
I really like a lot of the sets I've heard from James around the 2004 era, his essential mix from that year is incredible, Ted Promo introduced me to it a couple weeks back. I just don't like his newer stuff, doesn't really work for me.
Basically just a matter of opinion. Oh and I've always hated Deadmau5.

Deadmau5 is pretty much as talented as someone can get when it comes to production. As a person i think hes a douchebag though.

Have you had a bad experience with him? Well, I'm not trying to argue with that, just curious. I was right beside him when he finished his set here last year. People were lining up to meet him and one of the bouncers told everyone to line up. I heard him say "why is everyone lining up" and when told why, he decided he didn't want to stick around. Just curious if he's always like that or what? The only song I really like right now is Ghosts n Stuff. He did play a pretty good set last year though.

As a producer hes so fuckin wikid...dude can make a song for any genre and it will be a hit. Hes just good. Ive never met him or seen him spin but ive read about a few things about him and his remarks and it kinda rubbed me the wrong way. His heads inflated beyond recognition due to this quick rise to fame beatport gave him. I can picture him doing what you said he did..fits what i already thought about him.

I have met him and he was nice to me, even took a pic with me. However, I have heard/read these same stories that Chris is speaking of....He has that 'I don't give a fuck what people think' attitude...

Mmmm ok so his songs are hits, for me that doesn't mean much at all. He could very well be a fantastic producer, I don't doubt it, but if he's just going to continue to shill out the same cookie cutter generic garbage I'm not interested.
He occaisionally (or used to a few months back) posts in the Music Discussion section of TA. His posts were usually very childish and he came off like a complete fuckwad, so my opinion of him is pretty abysmal.
