Very chill, I like it a lot. I would say use a more "full" pad around 2:30. I especially like that soft synth you used at 3:30. Other than that, it's a very nice combination of balearic sounds. Keep it up.

This is sublime!

Everything up until the two and a half minute mark is PERFECTION, deep kick and beautiful smooth bass, but I do agree with zhill that the pad that comes in doesn't quite fit, and this same sound returns as a synth melody around 3:20. Something about it doesn't mesh with the lovely clean elements you've got in the basslines, maybe its too middy - i think either use something warmer (higher pitched) or cooler (lower). Lower and more "lush" might be the better option since you've got that little panpipe-y sound to take care of the highs (FANTASTIC sound that one might I add! did you use real panpipe or square wave?)

Great work, you planning on sending this to Solarstone or Shah or something like that?

thanks for the feedback, much apprecieated it's good to hear opinions from other people because when it comes to that "pad" at 2:30 my ears could not detect any "flaws" so i might rearrange things a little bit, Novastorm what sound you were talking about "that little panpipe-y sound" ? i'll be glad to explain how i got it but i'm not sure what particular sound u ment, and when it comes to labels i don't even know where i'm going to send it, i'll just look for some uplifting trance labels that i could send my demo to..

Nice lush and emotional track you have here. Some thoughts for tweaking it a bit:

1. Are you using compression? In the busy parts of the track it is clearly clipping (distorting) when the kick hits and it sounds harsh, which is especially noticeable in a smooth-sounding track like this. You might want to examine your levels again or go easier on the compressor if you are using one.

2. Percussion might use a bit more reverb and delay. It sounds pretty dry and plain and kind of clashes against the smoothness of the rest of the track, to my ears.

The melodic and synth elements are very nice here.

OK ive listened again, the sound starts fading in at 1:25 .. i guess its not THAT much like panpipe haha, just reminded me of that same airy sound. Beautiful synth!

Also, I downloaded it this time rather than listening to the youtube clip and I notice its rendered REAL loud, I can hear a fair bit of static or clipping going on especially when all the elements come in to play.
