Amsterdam Dance Event Special



Thursday the 22nd of October Alda Events presents Intuition Invites during the Amsterdam Dance Event. Three well-established labels from the Progressive & Trance scene will board the Ocean Diva to showcase their unique sounds. Markus Schulz (Coldharbour, USA), Menno de Jong (Intuition, NL) and Gareth Emery (Garuda, UK) will be showing the audience exactly why their individual imprints are preceded by such solid reputations.

Coldharbour is well known for it’s dark underground Progressive Trance sound and has recently enjoyed some massive hit records from various artists. In the last 4 years a massive 60 releases have appeared on what is now a major player in the industry. Man in charge Markus Schulz for instance recently produced monster hits such as ‘Perfect’ and ‘The New World’ on Coldharbour. Inspired by his travels as well as the people and scenery he encounters on the way he is currently going full force to the highest peaks of the global DJ elite.

Probably one of the most inspiring label launches of this year is that of Garuda. Kicking off with Gareth Emery’s download chart topping ‘Exposure’ marked the perfect start for what is already becoming a very popular musical brand. Garuda’s recently launched label nights have equally well been called ‘the hottest new night in town’ by British media and Alda Events is proud to present this experience to the Dutch clubbing scene.

Mr. Intuition himself, Menno de Jong, is currently climbing the DJ charts with high speed. His mad touring schedule and hard work resulted in an nr. 48 DJ Mag Top 100 position in 2008. His label Intuition has a distinct ear for new talent and big tracks, which is easily proven by the new names they have helped propel into the scene in the past years.
