demon's souls

anyone else hopelessly addicted to this game? i grabbed it with my new PS3 as something to play until MW2 arrives.. best RPG i've played in ages. it will make you want to throw your controller at the wall sometimes, the first 5 hours or so are absolutely agonizing but the difficulty is always fair. the enemies don't try to have overly convoluted AI like most games, they always follow the same attack patterns and spawn in the same place.. but if you get lazy and slip up your timing you'll die in a few hits, even when you back track to beginner areas.

it takes me back to NES days - when you die, you start at the beginning of the level (among other penalties)... it's been years since i got an adrenaline rush during a boss fight and actually stood up while playing.

if megaman, zelda:OOT and diablo had a love child, this game would come out
