The PS3 has the best controller of any system..like...ever.
And there are plenty of good games.. The downloadable titles alone are worth it IMO.

I don't know what the hell ff means but the Dual Shock 3 is extremely comfortable. They changed the weight and the sculpting slightly over the PS2 model..added analog sensitivity for the buttons themselves, and all sorts of good stuff. It feels right and works well for every type of game IMO.

I'm assuming when you type 'ff', you are abbreviating 'force feedback'? I was just checking...
Anyway, Sony has had a lot of shitty PR this generation, and their claiming rumble was 'last generation', only to then, a year later, throw it back on with the Dual Shock 3, doesn't bode well with their image.
That being said, if you ask me, the Dual Shock 3 is the best controller of them all. But that's coming from a person who loved the Dual Shock 1 and 2, and thought they were the definition(s) of quality gaming accessories. The Sixaxis was fine, but I don't like it's lack of solid weight...it feels rather cheap. The DS3 feels more substantial, still sports the motion sensors, and has the Playstation controller interface that's been around since the 90's.
One could argue that FPS's are done better with the 360 remote, since having the joysticks side by side (as is the case with the PS1/2/3) isn't as easy to maneuver as having them go diagonal (as is the case with the 360). But the PS3 remote absolutely steamrolls the 360's shitty ass D-pad. And I've always loved the triggers of the PS3 controller over anything Microsoft has had to offer. So the Dual Shock wins in my book.
As for buying a PS3 Slim...My 20GB fatty PS3 with PS2 BC is doing me just fine.
