JACKIE PASHLEY
Jacqueline, more commonly known as Jackie Pashley, is an enthusiastic music lover who is taking Durham Region by storm! With passion, drive and a whole lot of talent, this talented DJ/Promoter/Actress is quickly becoming a hot commodity.
Growing up in Port Perry, Ontario, Jackie developed a strong passion for performance. Very early Jackie was exposed to many different genres of music, began playing the drums and developed a sharp musical ear. Throughout her artistic journey Jackie has received many awards for her performance in school and community theatre. In addition to her love for the arts Jackie has earned numerous gold medals from cross country mountain bike racing and AA/AAA ringette.
Jacqueline has always possessed strong leadership skills which in turn may have contributed to her success being the creator and owner of Bassline Jack and being one of the top female DJ/Promoter’s in Toronto and the GTA.
With a few vocal tracks under her belt, this multi-talented lady is ready to take on the next challenge of songwriting and production. The long time dream of stardom is steadily becoming a reality. Critics say she is the next triple threat to come out of Canada, singing, acting, and mixing her way into the spotlight.
MARVUL
Marvul is the alter ego of Ryan Janes, a producer/dj based out of Durham Region/Toronto. He has been involved with music for nearly his entire life, playing various instruments and studying music while growing up. His initial dream was to be in a successful metal band, but that changed when he was introduced to underground electronic music. After discovering and growing a love for multiple genres which included drum and bass, techno and hardcore he picked up djing and ended up playing at a handful of raves across Toronto. Ryan then had to put his musical pursuits on hold due to other responsibilities, but knew that one day he would come back to it. In 2008 he returned and started working under the name of Marvul, putting a focus on making original productions and remixes. In a short time Marvul has developed a signature sound and has drawn in some outside attention, being featured on music blogs and even getting some of his tracks signed and released on labels. He has found his calling, and has no intentions of stopping. Keep a look out because this is just the beginning…
CITY & MIXXXY...
are the DJ duo taking the electronic music scene by storm. These selecta’s are guaranteed to pack the floor every time they connect with any sound system! Hailing from Toronto, ON they hold several residencies around the city, take part in countless festivals, and are a regular face of underground parties & raves. They have played many Toronto venues including Comfort zone, Circa, The Basement, 338, Home & rowdy house Harmony lounge.
City and Mixxxy have great chemistry and seem to possess the strong skill of reading an audience and fine tuning their set to demand the crowds respect and attention. These DJ’s dance harder than some out in the crowd which adds to the positive energy the of the room. In addition to DJing live, production is becoming a strong passion for the duo. They’re currently signed with Don’t look productions, Christian records, Crazy rabbit recordings, and Omerta records. City and Mixxxy represent DJ sessions entertainment, White rabbit & Bassteaser’s crew in Toronto, ON. You can also find City & Mixxxy in the live electro/rock group “The Loot” , DJ City team’s up with local bad boy Che DuBois to create 3rd D’Gree.
City and Mixxy have kicked business into high gear with no plans on stopping. I have the pleasure of knowing and have DJ’d with these two bass lovers. Since out first meeting, I knew they were DJ’s I wanted to connect and work with. LOOK OUT TORONTO! BRAP!
GET READY TO DANCE!!!!
