WOW
Holy shit, that is the craziest lineup I've EVER heard for a party of any kind. Lets go through the names, shall we?
Mauro Picotto, Mario Piu, Lisa Lashes -- Italy's finest Djs on the same decks! Picotto bringing you his hard, progressive style trance with hits like Komodo, Iguana, Proximus, and the new Like This Like That. Piu is the Italian Fatboy Slim, lets face it. Great hits like The Vision, Techno Harmony, and The Matrix. Lisa Lashes, one of the best female djs, comes in with a great sound from her tracks Unbelievable and Lookin Good. Three fine djs for your listening pleasure.
Seb Fontaine, Nick Warren, Dave Seaman, Sander Kleinenberg, Steve Lawler, Anthony Pappa -- The GU crew!! Have these guys ever put out a CD the public didn't like? Especially the Nu Breed and Prototype style, what a great sound. Pappa and Lawler have been laying low as of yet (at least I think so) so this is the perfect opportunity to come back to the rave scene.
Judge Jules, Fergie, Carl Cox, John "00" Fleming, Pete Tong -- Radio 1's finest. The Judge never disappoints constantly playing the newest and freshest beats to hit the sreets all over the world. Fergie, the teenage trance prodigy. How cool is that?? Cox's hard style is perfect for the outdoor scene, not to mention his great track selection. "00" once again graces the masses after a long break from his Radio 1 Essential Mix..we want more Fleming! And the ringmaster for it all is none other than Pete Tong. Is there anything this guy hasn't done?
Tiesto, Tall Paul, Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren -- this is a group I'd like to call the Mixmaster Allstars. Dj Tiesto is in his prime in the year 2001 spinning that great uplifting/melodic style of trance, a real crowd pleaser. He's accomplished so much in such a short period of time (let's not forget the spectacular sets at Sensation, Innercity, and all the Magik parties) also putting out 5 slamming CDs. Tall Paul, a great addition to this group of Allstars. Have you heard his remixes? Enough said. Next is a man who needs no introduction, Ferry Corsten. I can't say enough about this guy without remembering all the crazy shit he's done in recent months, let alone years. Armiiiiin!!! Coming off a great set at Dance Department, he should bring an awesome energy along with Tiesto (I think they were separated at birth ) to this great party.
Future Shock -- That's all I have to say and you know it'll be an awesome rave!
Guy Ornadel, John Kelly, Corvin Dalek, Daniel Soto, AJ Gibson -- Well, I haven't really heard them so I can't say anything about them. I'm sure they'll keep the crowd moving with some great tunes. I'll download some stuff this weekend and maybe update this unless someone else does it before me hint hint .
That's my opinion on this great lineup of Djs planning to hit England's airfield this summer. My only gripe about this Global Gathering is that it's in England..why can't something cool like this happen in the U.S.?? Hopefully I'll have the money to fly there with some friends then. If not, maybe Swamper can send some boys overseas to document the action? I don't know, just a suggestion. Hey!! it can be a contest! Tranceaddict's first contest..that would be cool. Anyways, I've overstayed my welcome here so I'll go now. Consider the contest idea, it might work.
