It’s not really the sort of track list I’d spin. However, I’d suggest you start off with your harder tunes; Dumonde, S.H.O.K.K, Cosmic Gate etc. and build it up to a trancey finish, ending on a tune like Gouryella – Gouryella for example.

Yes depends on the crowd, if it's a crowd you know then you can figure out whether to start melodic or hard... If you don't know, begin the set with a melodic then hard one, see what get more reaction.
I'll sort the list on what order I would play this (In a crowd I'm used to), The ones I didn't use are ones I think either don't really fit or simply am not that familiar with...
Marco V - Godd >>> Because you have to start with something that has a good gimmick and also quite bangin'
4 Clubbers - Toghether
Second Sun - Empire
Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (Tijs)
Baeleric Bill - Destination Sunshine (Tijs Dub)
Mirco de Govia - Epic Monolith
Push - Tranzy State of Mind
Altitude - Altitude (SHOKK)
B&J - D.F.F. (Cosmic Gate remix)
Push - The Legacy (S&G)
Gouryella - Gouryella
This is built like : Bang - Slow Chill - Nicey - Wake Up - Finish At Complete Trance
If you want to go in a pattern of Bang - > Uplift or vice versa then tracks you can use for transition are mainly the last 4 tracks + Second Sun- Empire
Grab the 1 record you want to be the middle of the set. Like the body of the sound you are trying to bring.
Put that record on your right platter.
Take each record in turn and play along side the right one. If the new one is slower and softer put it in the first half of the set. If it's harder or faster then put it in the later part of the set.
Sort them as you hear them and you'll just find the ways you want to play them. Making the hardest ones the last ones.
If you're making a pre defined set then you can even write down each record and where you want to start playing it. SO you know the first record is Tilt- I dream and you write beside it "start -> 3/4" and then you know to bring in the next track when you're 3/4ths through the Tilt track. This way, you don't have to many build ups and can control when you let the crowd can relaxe. ANd you can limit your 1 hour to 2 or 3 big builds.

Whatever else you do I would recommend you finish with the Svenson & Gielen mix of "The Leagacy"

I thought that this was for a mix CD or tape. Which is why I suggested the approach I did. I can’t really comment on how I’d do it in the club environment. There’s too many variables; who’s on next, who was on before, what the crowd are getting into, etc. Besides you shouldn’t be choosing what tunes to play in what order in the club before you get there anyway
