Megabus seat sales
I know a few of you travel on megabus frequently.
Is there a place that annouces when seat sales are happening? Or do you just have to keep checking?
I am thinking about traveling to Montreal on the 21st of January... those dates arent available yet, but I do not want to miss a sale if one happens.

sign up for their e-newsletter. i know i got a few days notice last time they announced a new block of tickets. maybe they'll do it like that for the canada routes.
but they should be up soon, as the january dates just came online today for the US. lots of $1 seats to NYC .
so keep checking.

How is the ride on the megabus to say Montreal? The last time I took a regular Greyhound there was painful! Cramped seats, long ride, etc.

I dont know... I took I know greyhound it typically the worst out of all the buses... a lot of them are 8-11 hours long.
I heard that megabus is 7 hours which is pretty bad... but if I can do it for 1 dollar, or even a bit more... I will get over the long ride.
And apparently megabus busses are much nicer.

I have taken the one to NY a lot.
Going overnight is not too bad. You can typically sleep the entire way.
I have stopped now that Bobby and I are married because I get too much of a hassle at the border and the stress is not worth it.
The seats are not too bad and there are times you can get 2 seats to yourself which makes the ride a little better.
At the end of the day the $1 price tag can't be beat.

Yeah for sure.
Just have to keep checking, I paid $100 Cad down there last weekend, it was still cheap. On the way back I got an isle seat which is LOADS better. Wooooooo.
