Track is kewl Atmospere is top. The composition is once again win which leads me to believe that you are talented.
You nailed that prog breaks sound. I mean I could see this on a vinyl from a top label. Well not in this form exactly but the music is good and that is what matters.
The mix while far from what somebody like luke chable can achieve is nowhere near as bad as it was last time.
A good low end boost on the kick with a vewy wide Q experiment with the settings to make it phat and maybe
maybe raise the snare a wee bit.. maybe..
Also reverb on ze bass is a big no no i am not sure if you got reverb on the bass or some other funky processing going on like... chorus?
Also try shelving out some high end off the bass till it moves back in its space sonically.

And the melody.... what a great melody this is!

Where...

where..

well where did you find it?

Come on tell the truth now
Hehe I am just messing with you.

Quite franckly I don give a fuck. (I don't)

I mean you can take the bassline from tainted love (you can)

and the...
the. love we shaare... seems to... go.... no. wheere

And I've lost my light..
For I toss. and. turn. I can't. sleep. at. night.

Once I raaaaaaaan to you (I ran)
Now I'll....

call on meeeeeeeeeeeeee call on me call on meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee call on me
Call on meeeeeeee I'm the same boy I used to be.

Add a pretty hoe and a video and you sell 50 thousand copies and drive around in your fast jag with a pocket full of money like it the 80s again.

I cant remember where I was going with this

Back to your prog track like I waz telling you...
That melody... We losin that melody son.

eeeeasy on that reverb. big hall verbs when used excessively can make sounds very blurry and all over the place.
Also try takin some of that 5k shit off to pull it back in the mix till it blends more coherently.

Also some good analogue vintage hardware compreshun on the mix like an analogue SSL copy can go a long way here. But it aint cheap in the black market unless you or somebody you know is handy with the soldering iron...

Overall. Its a -able track regardless...

Kick needs more bass in my opinion, but other than that it sounds good to me. I am listening on sub-par headphones though, so take it with a grain of salt.

By the way, Existo's review was actually kind to you.

A little bit of a rant as usual, but kind lol.

I'll try and give more feedback after I listen again later, just about to head out for something to eat.

Hi msz,

You are on the right start with this track man. This sound is clean and basic, this is good, because you need to have this simple (or basic and clean) sound to build your melody structure around. This tempo is right, atmosphere is slowly crystallizing and this space started to be more utilized. Like your bass - aggressive, drums have some progressive rhythm build in it and this vocal alike pad in the beginning is a good start. I would like to transition this vocal alike to some nice pad which would slowly blend/transition to some aggressive/dynamic (like a statement making) sound.

This could be big song. Make it attractive, make a (like in the book) good story/melody line by adding some pads with nice but crazy sound.

If you make it right, this could be really good track.

Keep working on it man.

thank you for the kind words, i think youre right , adding some complex pads would really kick it up. really have to work on my chords.
this is one of the more basic songs i did, like you said. but, thats not necessarily a bad thing, ive been listening to certain pieces lately, that are basic and effective.

cheers trancelover

My philosophy is "simple (basic) is the beauty".

This could by really good song.

Don't give up on this man, keep it going.
