The cultural implications behind this are obvious. If you read their report on religion, you can clearly see a bias against Muslims in general, whereas Agnostics are the most well liked among all (Jews being a close second, and Atheists being not that far in third). Men also write back to women far more than the other way around, showing a blatantly obvious gender difference. I bet fat people also get less messages (and are ignored more often).
This is about how people are portrayed in our culture, rather than just racial differences. If anything, it shows we need more sexy black women in the media (I can't think of many of them, while I can sure think of all this white girls most TA's would definitely love to root), and we should stop thinking that every Muslim is out to get some crispy sinning infidels (as this is, fortunately, not the case).

Why do you say that? Do you believe media really controls our perceptions of each other that much?
What about the fact that many white men just don't find black women attractive? There is nothing racist about that. Caucasians have an overwhelming majority in most Western countries, so it makes sense that black people would receive less responses to their advertisements. Also, underlying racism present in at least some percentage of people present on dating sites would have an effect here too.

Can your dick be racist? Is it racist if you just aren't attracted to a certain ethnicity? |
Depends on what you mean by racist, in this world full of labels. If you read the comments under that post, you see some people relate "preference" with "discrimination". But, if I like redheads better than brunettes, can you really say this is racism in any sense if they're both white? I for instance, am a sucker for redheads (though I've never dated one )... and the only kind of brunette I find more attractive is what North Americans (not Brits) call Asian. But, even then, I do think my girlfriend is beautiful, and some of my friends are gorgeous, but that doesn't mean everyone gets a free pass.
Now, I've never been attracted to anyone whose skin was much darker than mine... yet, Americans wouldn't say I'm attracted to just one "race". What can one make of it?
edit: Wait, I was attracted to this mulatto girl back in high school... but that's because she was really fit and had enormous breastesses
