What kind of PA System do I need?

OK well I just bought my decks and I still need a bunch of other stuff, for beginners I need a decent PA System, preferably something not to pricey somewhere around $500-600 USD.

Can anyone recomend anything? I will mostly be using it in the house but once in a while I want to do some outdoor get togethers with friends and have a system that sounds good outside in a big back yard!

I have no clue where to start so I turn to you guys!

Oh and if you can recomend any place on the net that deliver to Canada or/are based in Canada it would be greately appreciated, if not than I just want to hear your opinion!

BTW these are the two systems I am looking at currently what do you think?

i'd get self amplified portable speakers... i saw some yamaha's for about a grand canadian... that way you aren't really limited by the speakers/amps you buy and can always upgrade... and are great for back yard parties too...

A couple of weeks ago I played at an outdoor garden party and I used a 2Kw sound system. Loads of low, and great Hi-Peaks! Very impressive.....

gemini sucks. if you are only choosing between those 2, i would get the fender.

this is a bit better verison of the fender:

however, there are even better options.
speakers with amps built in are awesome..

if i were you, i'd get a couple speaker stands, and two of these:

or for a bit more:
