250 watts is a little weak for an outdoor party...

400 WATT are good, but not less for an outdoor party

i'd get self amplified portable speakers... i saw some yamaha's for about a grand canadian... that way you aren't really limited by the speakers/amps you buy and can always upgrade... and are great for back yard parties too...

A couple of weeks ago I played at an outdoor garden party and I used a 2Kw sound system. Loads of low, and great Hi-Peaks! Very impressive.....

gemini sucks. if you are only choosing between those 2, i would get the fender.
