I'll give the pitch bend a try

Listening again it sounds like portamento as well as the pitch bend

Sounds like portamento quickly followed by a note off note change (know what I mean?!?)

If you set the lead to a fairly slow portamento setting and overlap the next note with the previous one you get the slide and then note off/on to the next one for the pitch jump.



That sounded perfectly understandable in my head lol.
