m.i.b.t.y.u.f.y.u. - Sound Collage Mix
Pivot stablemate re.son put together this mix together in 2001 while residing in some hot, humid (and evidently demented) clime in Southeast Asia. Using snippets (the only full track on the mix being a collab between Anthrax and Public Enemy) from various LPs, 12"s and CDs, the 74 minute result is a meandering sound collage, and those who listen to it either immediately love it or hate it. One thing's certain, there's little room for middle ground with this one.
m.i.b.t.y.u.f.y.u. has no tracklist - you might recognize some of the artists/cuts on this mix, but most of it you won't. Best absorbed with an open mind and feet placed firmly on the floor.
