So I've been experimenting with a new sound lately. This mix bangs out some electro house, moving into some progressive psytrance with a hard electro tinge, and no Ziptnf set would be complete without a little bit of full-on at the end.
There were a few wonky transitions in there, some of the tracks were a tad unpredictable to mix, but hopefully you'll enjoy it anyways!

I have been following Tiesto since 99. I was immediately enthralled by what I still regard the best electronic CD ever compiled, Magik VI Live in Amsterdam. This CD is loaded with uplifting, energetic, blood moving tracks intricately mixed with angelic perfection. From that moment on, I could feel the magik flowing through my veins while listening to the music that Tijs carefully samples and produces. His creativity allows him to develop the concepts of songs that bring life and energy to people around the world.
I'll bump this with a few thoughts of my own. I'm quite disappointed in the end, not only was the mixing terrible, but the songs went with the rest of the set like spaghetti and tuna fish. If there were two more tracks like Toxical - Nutone then I wouldn't have had that predicament. I wish I had left the full-on out completely, it did nothing for the set except make it worse.
I wouldn't mind if everyone who listened stopped at the 55 minute mark.

I thought my idea was in good intentions, but I don't think it went the way I was hoping. I prefer the first 55 min by leaps and bounds, I thought the end sounded cheesy and was a bad idea.
I thought Snowman was played a few songs too early, the trance feeling in it may have seemed a little out of place in comparison to the techier/electro-y tracks before it. Overall I thought I had some real solid electro and I would like to expand my horizons and find more stuff like this and do another one of these in the future.
I have some other sets lined up, more mayhem to come in the next few months!
Just had a listen to the set. Well electro isn't really my thing since imo it has a truly special skill to make it work. That being said, I found a good number of worthy tracks here like 2nd, 4th, 6th for example. The mentioned rotation was actually throughout the set, one average track (intro one) to a good one, to an average one etc. You mentioned in the original post that there were some sloppy transitions so you know which they were. I didn't found the set lacking any technical aspects however. It was enjoyable and even the sloppier transitions didn't disturb me in any way. The full on comes ok at the end and it was a nice finish. Good work!
