Well to my ears the kick and bassline aren't working right just yet. The pads, sytnh lines and atmosphere is great though.
The kick sounds like it's sitting on top of the mix and is entirely seperate, but that's partly because the bassline is panned or effected away from dead centre (it appears that way at least). I think a change of kick sample would help massively but also leave the current bassline where it is (maybe centring it up a bit) and add a more percussive bassline over the top to keep the groove going.

I really like the darkness of this bassline. You used it very well. The way it gradually got lost towards the beginning so it wouldn't counteract the piano, but then came back in after the the long break. Very nice. I wish I could help you on the mastering, but that is probably my weakest point. Luckily Tehlord is here. He knows his ish.

And the morphing of the pad during the last break @ 5:02. It kinda sounded like a pad morphing into a airplane and then finishing off into some kind of guitar on crack. Sick! I wasn't feeling the kick either. I would like it deeper.

My bad, I should have explained myself more clearly. I liked it very much! How did you do it?
I only meant that I didn't like the kick you used.

I love this track! Chill like the winter season. And it builds up damn nice, especially when the break hits in and I feel im lifted into the sky. Nice contemporary part after the break, just as it should sound at the end of 2009. Giving the strings a new chance over the beats in the next part, is maybe the only thing I critize, since the strings don't add any new energy to the track, only that mellow sound which kinda belongs to the break. Good!
