Pure Phunk is back... WAY BACK... back in time...
On December 11th, Pure Phunk returns to give everyone a FLASHback to the good old days. All old school all night. All the hits and anthems that made you smile back then will make you smile again!
And for this special night, we've called in a long time friend of the Pure Phunk family:
DJ THUNDER (MIF, UK Garage Anthems)
UK Garage is a blanket term that comprises some of the most original forms of underground dance music to ever come out of the UK. It began as a fusion of Jungle/Drum'n'Bass and Vocal House born on the pirate radio airwaves and in clubs in England that were home to the London underground dance music scene. Similar to Jungle in its early days, UKG borrows influences from nearly the entire spectrum of music but has particularly strong roots in RnB, Hip-Hop, and Dancehall Reggae.
For this edition of FLASH we're going to 2-Step our way back in time and explore the world of UKG with one of our long time friends DJ THUNDER. On this night he'll be playing strictly anthems that will bring you back in time, if only for a few years. Not to be missed!

Celebrating 16 years as a professional DJ in Toronto, D-Monic knows how to rock a Toronto crowd. He will also be digging out the original vinyl for this event.
