around 9pm i got in free. i was passing out flyers for after party at my friend's gig down the street at oasis 111 2nd ave n when the guy at the gate pointed at me and said go ahead in.
david guetta is weird. when you pump his music loud enough, the beat starts to become very danceable instead of just thump thump thump, but then some stupid shit vocal will come on, like "im david guetta bitch!" and everyone goes nuts like that vocal is so awesome or something. its retarded.
so it was a tough house beat played well, but the vocals were so shitty and cheesy, very girly vocals. like the vocals are not something i would sing out loud, not even in the shower when no ones looking, its that cheesy. its like something in a herbal essence shampoo commercial.
there were tons of people wearing affliction / ed hardy or similiar style t shirts, with dudes puffing their chests out. its weird to see people dressed south beach style in a dirt field getting their pumas filthy. only maybe 3 "ravers" with glowsticks in the whole place.
the sound by vizion1 was pure perfection. super clean clarity and thick vibrating bass completely drenches you in bass bliss. it was gigantic bass with precision.
