For now for fun, i like to make tunes wiht my PC with acid music, acid dj and acid techno. i have alot of loops so i'll be ok for a while

when im trying to remix songs, the beatmapping is a great help to get the right BPMs. the only problem is that sometimes the beatmapper is no help when i load the tunes onto the acid. some tunes get outsynched and the bpms don't match later on. it is frustrating to try to fix it and i end up not doing it anymore. and some tunes have that intro and slow bpms. so when the beatmapp comes up and tells me if i want to beatmatched, and when it does, it will give me a slow bpm counter messing up the whole thing. it does have this bpm measure with 3 beats to match the wavelengths but it is very limited

im sorry if i wasn't more clear but if someone uses acid, i would really appreciate the tremendous help you can give me on how to get the BPMs right on any tunes even if the bpm changes throughout the tune. thanks

Ok, first off. On songs with a long intro, don't beatmatch the intro. Start the first beat to beatmatch on the first real drum section of the song and beatmatch that. Same as you would do on decks.

Secondly, If a track is out of sync after it has been beatmatched you will have to manually match it. You do this by right clicking on the track name choosing properties and the "Stretch" tab. There you just move the "original tempo" setting up or down to expand or contract the track (change the BMP). It takes some time, but if you are very carefull you can get it exact.

yeah i have been doing that sometimes. the problem is that if i don't start from the beginning, that part gets automatically cut off. is there anyways to save it?

and another thing is that when i try to beatmatch the other area where it is messing up, the other part gets cut off as well. maybe im doing it wrong. i'll try again. any more suggestons?

I know what you are talking about. Songs never hold a constant tempo and even though the beats match for 4 measures, after that they start slipping. So if you have a song and you wanted to put a beat to it, of course, you start at the beginning and cut out the volume of the beat if the song has an intro. When you start to notice the beat isnt matching the song, i use the split tool and split right before the beat that doesnt match. Then i take that beat and place it so that itll match up again. The beats should match for another 4 measures till they start to slip again, and well . . .you gotta do it again till the end of the song assuming you use the same beat which i highly recommend you dont do.

pretty tedious, thats why i got my TT's.
