Want some more advice?

I'm not sure if you'll capture many people's interest with mixes consisting of 5 tracks, even if the tracks are absolute killers. Maybe try to aim for something about an hour long, or even 2 hours, if you're up for it.

Sorry to criticize again but your download link is wrong! I went to check it out to be nice, but what you must've done is copy and paste it from another forum.

Usually this is done when the link is long, so to effectively copy and paste it you need to hit right click/copy shortcut on the original file, because the way it is you're not going to get any feedback if the link doesn't work!

Thanks for taking your time to help out here. I dont see it as criticizing kpjf I can do with any help that you are so willing to give. Thanks for that.

Ok so here is my Reply on your posts:
1: Sushipunk making the Minimix an hour mix would defy the object of the reason for starting the minimix and what the minimix is all about. I mean 5 songs and you are looking at about 30 min in any case. Considering your sugestion I think what I will do is bring out a hour long mix once a month together with the minimixes.

2:kpjf as for the bitrate, yes its very low BUT I also mention that I am willing to supply the 320kbps ver. on request so... The Main reason for this is in South Africa we pay big money for internet access and to make it easier for the greater group here in SA to be able to download it I was forced to go with the low bitrate. Thats why I have the high bitrate on request at this stage.

1. I think the point sushipunk was making was that to get people to download your mix it's probably better making it longer. Obviously you're saying the whole point is that is called a minimix and therefore is mini (short). I don't mind short mixes myself though.

2. What you do therefore is supply both links. Seriously do a poll on the main page asking the users here what they think of 64kbps and you'll see what i'm talking about. As for SA users, here on TA a lot of people are from the USA and europe so i don't think they'd really have major issues downloading a 40 MB mix, so instead of the higher bit rate request, why make people bother ? Why not just supply it; a lot of people will just see 64kbps and think "f**k that"... so finally you're better uploading the 320kbps version and providing the link.

Cheers
