So I was on gearslutz the other day and I stumbled upon a thread on the hip-hop side of that forum. Some people were raving about these cheap ass $60 plug-ins. Among them studio owners with big consoles the size of a football field. There was a link to a video of a few well known producers with released stuff and hits under their belt talking on youtube about these plug-ins and other gear. At the gearslutz board software is frequently bashed on. Especially the expensive stuff that claims ridiculous BS on the brochure. It's mostly studio owners and it is mostly about gear there. As in REAL gear. So I went to download the airwindows demo just because it sparked my curiosity. So I download these plug-ins I go straight for the Iron Oxide (Tape Saturation) and Logical (SSL masterbuss Compressor) as suggested in the video and OMFG Component level emulation.It sounds really really fucking good. The Interface is 4 sliders LOL and looks like an itunes eq no bullshit glowing tubes and vintage looks but the sound is spot on. Definitively puts some high end plug-ins to shame.

So I bought these two plug-ins. I don't buy any software but these type of plug-ins at this type of price is more of what this industry needs. No bullshit. No ripoff deals. No magazine hype. No cheesy effects with 400 parameters that sound like ass just a good simple Tool that can be used and enhances the signal.

I think it was Khalil talking about those plug-ins hold on let me find this. This obviously didn't look like no shitty corporate suck-up paid endorsement to me and caught my attention.

So I opened logic turned on battery wrote a drum pattern and added the logical on the kick and tata Thats when I decided this and the iron oxide is going to be part of arsenal.

Shit I should probably kept this to myself but oh well
