Primes are always a bit better in image quality. Haven't used that one though, I have the Canon 15mm Fisheye.

yeah but i hear the canon fisheye was made for full frame and doesnt look as good on 1.6X.
also the 15mm would end up looking like 22mm on my sensor so i want a digital lens that is wide and i think tokina would be the way to go. and it is cheaper. i cant afford all the fancy gear that you have.

i think i should invest in a new body first though. still debating between 50d or 7d. i really dont need video (if i was gonna do video i would rather invest in a proper mini-dv). hmmm
