Just clicked through the mix really quick, and I have two pointers:
1. Please upload a 320kbps mp3 next time instead of WAV. People can't tell the difference and the space saved is totally worth it.
2. You play goa then night full-on then goa then night full-on, and you repeat this over and over until the mix is finished. That isn't very cohesive. Even though the tracks are cool, I would recommend piecing together tracks that sound more similar than in the order you put them in this mix, because the two styles are completely different.
Nice try though, listen to a few of the other psytrance mixes posted around here (or in my set archive) for inspiration |
Both good tips. I guess I just assumed people would want the highest quality since that's what I typically look for, but it makes sense since soundcloud doesn't give the user any way of differentiating what format it's in.
I guess I also wasn't thinking in terms of cohesiveness, more just some stuff I'd been listening to that I liked that I decided to throw into a mix, but you're absolutely correct. Thanks for the advice.
