Most Memorable Movie Moments
Figured this one could double as a movie recommendation thread and a thread to reminisce some of your favorite movies. It doesn't have to be your favorite part of any movie, just a scene that may stick out in your head or something that you remember for a particular reason.
Jurassic Park
I've caught a lot of crap for liking this movie, but I was 6 years old when I first saw it, and the only thing I remember from that movie theater was getting so scared when the T-Rex ate the lawyer while he was hiding in the bathroom. I thought that part was really scary. 
Scanners
I watched this movie on acid, and a majority of it was relatively boring, they seemed to be doing a whole lot of pointless storytelling. Maybe it was just the acid. But the last scene was probably the most intense scene of acting I have ever seen, these two characters are trying to blow each other up via psychic waves. At the very peak of the battle, the bad guys eyes explode and the good guy is set on fire.
 
Full Metal Jacket
Private Gomer Pyle shoots himself in the face in the peak of this movie after going insane. Incredible, powerful scene.
The Shawshank Redemption
The first time I saw this movie, I legitimately shed tears at the final scene. Definitely my favorite movie of all time.
