The Rush is the culmination of a brewing need to express myself purely and intensely through the music I have known and loved. It comes from the raw energy I've had since my discovery of Electronic Dance Music in the early 2000's and draws influences from the modern period in a variety of genres and contexts - based heavily in Tech-House beats, Progressive melodies and Tribal percussion/bass throughout.
If there is such a thing as an Identity Mix then for the moment, this is mine. Like the dynamic and changing nature of a DJ, so too does this mix ebb and flow. I hope you enjoy the variety of personal edits and arrangements I've put together for this mix.
This one is probably the most technically challenging mix I've put together. I feel that the resulting sound is a sophisticated harmony of the sounds I dig on at the moment and the technical mixing styles I am indulging in as of late.

I should add that I haven't put out a CD demo or promo in at least 2 years but several local promoters have been pushing me to put this out in a physical format since I started working on the mix. That's why I kept it at 80min. I'll be putting up cue/bin/iso files soon too for your benefit .
