moving samples forward in logic (as opposed to backwards with sample delay)
Sup people
Anyone know a fast way to move a single track forward in relation to all other tracks? It can be done simply in Ableton by typing in "-10" (or some other desired value) into the Millisecond delay box.
I have yet to find a way to do this quickly in logic... We have sample delay, but this does not take negative values.
At present, I manually click and drag the sample forward in the arrange window. I find this method arduous and much more difficult than simply adjusting the milliseconds in some plugin or box(as one can do in ableton).
Is there some kind of plugin that takes negative values for Logic?
If there isn't, is there some other internal method or moving a track forward that is easier than turning quantize off and zooming in really far to adjust the timing...?
Cheers

In the Parameters area on the top left hand side of the arrange window where you have transpose, etc. there is a delay parameter you can set to negative values. You can set it forward or backward by a beat division or simply type in a positive or negative value.
