sounds nice. very good way to get people from going out to get traktor, or at least think about their options. the fact that maxmsp is plugging into ableton and ableton is then plugging into serato is an absolute huge plus for anyone getting into digital

I can see how it's kind of interesting for people with both products, but now you'll have to manage your Serato library, and samples and such within Ableton.

I don't know, it seems like it only going to benefit a niche of Serato users.

More exciting is the support for more than 2 decks.

The introduction of Max for Live was a fantastic move by Ableton, it's going to produce some very interesting results. I haven't dived into it myself though, yet.

Don't get me wrong, it sounds like a great organizational tool and more streamlined workflow for folks who like to use both Ableton and Serato but I just don't find this creative partnership that exciting so far.
