Do you know how much HD space it will take to record in SF? And how about the time it will take to encode to mp3?
Those programs write to mp3 DIRECTLY.

I've found that Messer is pretty easy to use. You just need to download the lame encoder dll file and place it in the directory. After that, you just select the output file, mp3 quality and click record. A nice feature is that it shows the volume levels in real time, so you know whether you should adjust the line level.

wow, i never knew they had direct to mp3 recording. About how long would an 1hour long set be at 128kp, approx 60mb is it?
And say if you recorded it at an even lower bitrate e.g. 96????(dont know they actual rate). COs i have v.v.v.limited space on my machine.
