Angry Ziptnf - Brutal Machine [metal psytrance]

This is a very unique, banging mix. 3 metal tracks and 11 psytrance tracks with heavy guitar influence. Every one of these tracks are quite interesting, these days it's hard to find psytrance of this quality!

Oceano - Empathy for Leviathan
In Panic - Diffuser
Talamasca - Aries (XSI Remix)
Voodoo Velkro - Hydra (Jaws Underground Remix)
Hydraglyph - Abstraction
Veil of Maya - We Bow In Its Aura
Void - Comes Alive
Chemical Trolls - La Carmbre
Switch - Ravers Only! (Hydrofield Remix)
CPU - Es Vedra Pirates
Chelsea Grin - Sonnet of the Wretched
Genetic Noise - Feel the Energy
Azax Syndrom vs Bliss - The Better Man
Skulptor & Waio - Deep Ocean

In my opinion, Sonnet of the Wretched is rather misplaced. I mostly played that to fulfill a request from a friend. Since metal was at a completely different speed (and structure) than everything else, syncing the tracks were out of the question, so you may think I had a few "interesting" mixing ideas. Hope whoever listens enjoys anyways

Thanks kids, be sure to report your thoughts after listening! Mag, the guitars aren't so bad, don't be such a grooveless speed demon

oh dear

Megaupload says file been temporarily something... anyway was looking forward to this as..
A) Enjoyed most of your mixes so far
B) totally into metal of the variety you seem to have here (not yet heard Oceano album other than on myspazz, but will get soon!)
C) very interested to see how/if they go together... esp as I did a metal-ish mix for a friend a while ago and have often wondered about amalgamating with psy-trance....
spotter info alert... DJ Proteus (Finrg DJ) made a remix of some finnish metal track by Turmion Kätilöt called, I think Verta ja Lihaa. That was awesome!

will wait patiently for a re-up

I've never seen you post in any of my threads! Glad that you like them, which ones have you listened to?

All of these metal tracks are pretty good, lots of interesting stuff.

I think the elements all go together pretty well, but the mixing wasn't the easiest. PM me with info for this guy, I'd be interesting in hearing that track!

Enjoy the mix!

Lately, I'm really in the mood for pounding banging hard trance but kind of burnt out on prog and psy trance which to me isn't really pounding or banging so I'm a little confused here (I think you're tricking us); I have mixed feelings about dling and listening to this set but I like what you've done in the past so I'm going to squeeze my eyes shut tight, hold my breath, and and and give it a go...

WOW

who needs patience, when you get get a speedy response like that!!! thanks for the re-up...on the download now! will of course listen and comment, perhaps tomorrow, as I've just got myself an ice cold beer to celebrate fixing my boiler which had been "broken" all day, saving me from the prospect of a freezing night and massive plumbing bill in the morning!!!
I have never posted in your threads because I am a shameless leech
it would be useless to say that I hardly have time to search out and download mixes, let alone listen to them and comment on all of them. I have maybe posted on half a dozen mixes, especially ones I really liked, but after an embarassing drunken post to Hamid's Mad Monkey mix I have shied away!!!!! I sadly don't have the time or patience to review mixes as you do!!
I prefer the old school of goa trance or at least banging or psychadelic trance music over more progressive stuff. In all honesty I don't get the chance to listen to as much of this style (ie new productions) as I would like, but I did like Tristan's Chemisphere a few years back. So the sets of yours which reflected this were my faves. Frequency Surge, the first 6 mixes, but not so much the Yin/Yang and Yins Revenge. I also have a passing interest in mexican psy trance, so was pleased to see Barak on Magnetic Charge.
Looking forward to hearing the other metal tracks. Am so envious of you in States, as you seem to get great tours with the bands I really want to see, but so rarely come to the UK. The Faceless, Decrepit Birth, etc etc (tho I did see Origin in May 2009). I guess the downside is you may have to travel a long way for the gigs?
PM sent also..
thanks for all the mixes you have carefully crafted over the last year or so

@ 59min = sleyrrrr style

psy trance not rly my thing...but this is a rly good mix, getting infected mushroom vibes here...was expecting johann -stranded to be slammed in there somewhere haha

i actually enjoyed this mix, really fast paced like i was in a matrix movie or something, brilliant. i didnt expect that in a psytranze mix, i was thinking fuck, ive taken too many pills or something but this was a bit different when the shredding of the guitars kick in all distorted n shit...fucking brilliant

i want a trampcore mix from you next

Hey, wow, dude, I'm glad you liked it! Especially since you spin more downtempo stuff, I was expecting something this fast and crazy to annoy and irritate you.

Your latest mix is in my listening queue, I just started school back up, so give me a few days

Edit: I see that you have made a DnB mix, nevermind about things being too fast and crazy
