Ellen Allien is next in line to compile an edition of the Watergate mix series. Beginning with the ethnic minimal stylings of Onur Özer in July of last year, the Watergate mix series has spanned entries from Sascha Funke, Konrad Black and most recently Sebo K, who blended classic-rooted deep house with contemporary club cuts on his October released effort. For number five in the series, the Kreuzberg venue has turned to another of their long standing residents—Ellen Allien—to take the controls.
