so what do you guys think? voiceovers or no?


to be honest I absolutely HATE my own voice and talk way too fast in my normal speech. I also try really hard to hide what's left of my annoying New Orleans Yat accent (more info on that here lol: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpFDNTo4DNg )

im really have a hard time figuring out good compression/eq settings for radio, so sometimes they get drowned out. ill have to research it further...i've already applied everything ive learned for music productions but it seems radio voice mixdown is a dark art in and of itself.

but I really want to interact more with the show and its listeners...i eventually want to do contests, giveaways, share important news, gig dates, etc.

is this important to you guys? are the voiceovers so distracting/bad that it takes away from the music of the show?

would really love to know everyone opinion.
