Does anyone on here have one and play on Live?

My older brother and I split the spring $300 bundle at Gamestop, where you get a 360 Elite, a headset, Halo 3 ODST, Forza 3, and a $50 Gamestop gift card. I also picked up Skate 2 for $20. All three games are awesome.

This is also my first "next-gen" console, considering we didn't have an HDTV until early last year. Now that we have HDMI and the setup done right, it's amazing.

What other games do you guys recommend to get? I'm looking for good sports/shooting games. I'm thinking about picking up Perfect Dark for $10 on the Live Marketplace, since I still play the original on my N64 and online play is enticing. Any others I should know about?

I was watching trailers for Modern Warfare 2 and the weapons were current, but the environments were unrealistic (snow, weird deserts, etc.). It seemed like everything blows up too easily.

no its not just middleast and the game is very good...rent it first then like at blockbuster. I love it though

I looked at both systems but pretty much all the games that PS3 has are also on 360, and the Playstation Network isn't as good as Live.

I don't really play online. What sold me is the bluray player. Plus I'm not into all those sport games and I also have a lot of PS2 games that I still want to play. I don't anticipate getting a 360 anytime soon. I sold my original xbox along with ALL my games on ebay and got a nice chunck of change for the lot which helped me save $ on paying for the playstation and I gave my PS2 (which is still working) to my son so he has it in his room now.

MW/MW2 have some of the most ridiculous single-player stories/campaigns. I highly recommend that.

If your into RPG's/sci-fi, HIGHLY recommend Mass Effect 1/2. Also check out Gears of War 1/2. Its not a FPS, but a shooter nonetheless and an awesome game at that.

I played the COD:World at War demo and the gameplay was too slow.

I think we have decided on our next couple games:

MLB 10 ($50)
Fight Night Round 4 ($10)
Medal of Honor: Airborne ($15)
