Put a donk on it.
Just kidding, honestly, some people like to put nothing, while others use one or more plugins. Personally I have a couple of different chains that I use because I like to mix into a "mastering" channel, so that the product sounds as finished as possible while I'm working on it. I have a couple of different chains with 2 or 3 compressors, and a couple of EQ's on there.
Basically each compressor adds a bit of tonal colour to the finished product, and the EQ's keep certain frequencies in check, then it all runs into a limiter. If you search around a bit, I detailed out the mastering chains I use along with the purpose of each plugin a few months back.
