Question for the tech-savvy guys - Ive acquired a 160gb Intel X-25 SSD and i gonna rebuild my pc with an i7 870 and also install Windows 7 64 bit
Just wondering how best to utilise it? Put the operating system on it, or all my samples, my ableton folder or just put as much as i can on it?
Just wanna make sure i get the most out of it, thanks
uhm, shouldnt u have everything on it? or do people still split?

isn't really big enough for samples so I would personally put OS and programs.

I wouldn't install OS on this baby just put your music app and all of your samples and wav files on that drive - this is my setup. So the choice is yours.

your best bet is to use it for the OS - keep your work/projects on a separate normal bigger disk. you'll find your OS will fly.

Yes and I think he is trying to use this as secondary disk (if I'm right). If this is his new primary replacement that yes I would put OS on it if not I wouldn't.
Thank G.
