i asked about this for ableton before the iPad was known, a touchscreen laptop for liveact, draging those levels up and down launching those clips from a touchscreen is perfect. i just hope it doesnt go to long before it happens, im tired of waiting for the future.

brilliant app, got it on my iTouch
i'd been hoping for the ability to run ableton on the ipad.. looks pretty impossible at this stage since it's such a simple product, but it would be awesome imo

forget it. Not enough processing power for any serious production.
and that is an incredibly simple interface if compared to things the community has shown
That video shows exactly why Lemur could be in trouble. It's just a fancy controller and does things the ipad could do too if someone is willingly enough to develop a controller interface. I'd have to admit making a similar tool is not an easy task though .
If less is more think about how much more more would be.

Read about this in CM. Meh, I guess it could be cool to mess around with the odd time.

A better option, would be to use a remote desktop app to control reason with the ipad..
If possible.

There are quite a few remote desktop apps out on the iPhone already, so I'd be surprised if this wasn't also possible on the iPad.

well i'm sure sooner or later there will be apps that do what the lemur does. i just don't think it'll be a problem for jazzmutant for a while. but there really isn't a point in comparing the lemur and ipad

Hope the MBP comes as 13" touchscreen soon, without keyboard etc! would rock. with RCA instead of minijack (or big double jacks for line in and out + stereojack for headphones, total 5 jacks)!!
and hdmi. oh that would be the dream computer.
