yea the laidback luke prices suck. i wanted to go but tickets were only $30 for a day and $40 for two days before it got jacked up to the now $80 (70+fees). i was waiting to see who else might go before committing and before you know it i got priced out. it really gives you zero time to plan anything when the prices jump up that high that quick. and fuck if im paying $80 for laidback luke. lol. i mean i understand for sander k or s&d yacht parties and shit that its gonna be expensive but thats fucking open bar.
guess the turbo party didnt sell too well and thats why its canceled. pretty gay too. people plan shit and then a party gets canceled the week before. its not the only one too. some shit got canceled earlier in the week or last week too i believe. cant remember what though.
i hate how the entire pricing system is done here for wmc these days. the dip in pool party was 20, then 25, then 30, and now its at 35. why not just start it from 30 to begin with for fucks sake. props to the music matters people for keeping all their prices the same. im even surprised space hasnt fucked around too much with their prices. only went up once i believe. last year that shit jumped like 10 times. then sold out then even got released the week before for like double the price. yea cheaper tickets are always nice, but when they jump up unexpectedly and without warning its really just a big fuck you to the consumer. in ibiza its expensive but you can expect it and atleast they dont fuck around with the prices.
i would like to say a BIG thank you though for those who run parties where you let us know how many tickets will be available at a certain price, like the tuesday markus party and the cosmic gate yacht party. it helps having a rough idea.
