Question regarding Cubase AI 4
So in my excitement to open up my new midi controller and get it working, I completely forgot to even glance at the software bundle that came with it. I was taking the box my midi controller came in downstairs and the software just kinda fell out of it lol.
So I now have in my hand, a CD containing a fully licensed Cubase AI 4. I took a look through Steinburg's website, but it's not entirely clear on the different features beetween the different versions of Cubase.
Would it be worth my while to install Cubase 4 AI, in hopes of learning the software, so I'm familiar with Cubase 5 when I eventually pick it up? Are these two even close in nature?
I do know from what little I could find, that Cubase 4 AI is meant for my YamahaKX61 to make use of the keyboard's DAW integration, and is not sold separately.
It also came with a gigantic VST and Sound sample pack that I'm going to be combing through as well. If there's good stuff to be had for free, I'm all for it ^^.
