This will affect business negatively because consumers will be stuck with the final bill which will give them substantially less purchasing power. I know i plan to beat the tax by filing more under my business and then buying as much personal stuff as i can in the US.

If Dalton Mcdouchebag didnt want this to be a tax grab he could have

a)kept the exemptions as is and allowed the HST to be rebated for inputs

or

b) lowered the HST to 10%

Dalton can suck my left nut.

The builder's we've been seeing keep "including" the HST to the price of the home..

Thing is, if the sale(tax included) price is $405,000, how am I getting charged HST if the before tax price is less than $400,000...

I think that someone is def wrong here and I'm thinking that the provinces website isn't the wrong one...

The McGuinty government has things backwards. The solution to their big government spending is to tax the people and push their out of control spending on us. Most people are just getting by, and now this tax could really stress the resources of the middle and lower class.
