Need some help with mastering-issues

So, my monitors died so i produced this little piece with headphones. The tune itself has a quite dark 00d.b-ish tone and im quite satisfied with it. Im thinking maybe sending it out to some labels, but i havent made up my mind yet, so i need your help. Is there some mastering-issues, levels, lows, mids ,highs that needs some work? All help is truly appreciated.

edit; i realized that i might posted this in the wrong forum. Mods are welcome to move it

I like the tune.

Sadly, the mix sounds awful.

There's very little top end and it sounds muffled overall.

Sounds like a tune in the Beatport demo player if you know what I mean?

Really cool tune though.

thanks for listening. Did you stream it or did you download it? Zippy rather compress the audio quite much. But you have a point. Mixing and mastering are my biggest weaknesses. I will try to get it to sound a bit "crispier"

Mixing sounds alright to me!!

I never download - labels wont either - too time consuming in this busy life.

Theres a lead in there I dislike - it's just like those preset FL ones on youtube noob vids for euro trance style.

I streamed and downloaded and they both sounded really muffled Sounded like a Myspace encoding.

I played another track just before to check too (some DT8)

I'll check again.....

Checked again

Top end still sounds wierd to me.

Undefined and muffled.

I checked against some other commercial stuff I have on this HDD and there's definately room for improvement.

Could be this setup (work PC and Sennheiser earbuds that hype the bottom end massively)

I'll take another listen when I get home.

Still a great track though, and I like teh cheesy tarnce leads

Still sounds rough at home i'm afraid

It's possible that it's been rendered badly.

Have you got a WAV sample you can upload?
