Stu Cox - Quort (dark bass-driven percussive house...)

Thought I might as well sling this on here and see what you lot think of it.

I've 'finished' this about 5 times, then keep on deciding I'm not happy with it... but last week something just clicked and I really think it's there now.

Currently trying to get a bit of DJ support, all the feedback so far's been really positive and a few have already put it in their wallets.

I'm currently working on a 'B-side' (called Dragonfly) so I can punt the two together over to some labels. So that's nice.

Wow that was sick and I don't even like prog house that much :P

Great width and warmth to this, sounds like it could be from a cool tv ad or something. Not surprised that dj's are starting to add it to their rotation, all the best with it!

Most epic intro. Love the drumkit. Especially the water droplet sound.

Melodic drumkits are winrar I've decided.

Bass was quite nice on these headphones. (These beyerdynamics seem to represent bass pretty well for headphones)

The minor key breakdown was pretty sweet!

Oddly enough, I agree with Ashley. I'm not fond of that string synth, especially around 4:40. Personal taste I guess. Although I see what you were trying to do with it, kind of that evil, almost dastardly sound.

Great stuff man keep on it!
