Trance Sounds - Is my song trance!!??

I made my very first song and really badly wanted to get a trancy sound but it doesn'y sound very trancy to me. I was just wondering what sort of beats and samples would go best to giving it that more trancy feel? I'm not sure if it needs a different beat or less cheesy sound for example. Take a listen for yourself

Even though it is my first song i hope to someday be good.

It's a pretty nice song, i would tweak the rhytm track a little and use the 909 samples (or a real 909 of course) for the drum line. Also spend a little more time for mixing the tracks. The melody takes too much space imo. Nice work mate, do I hear some classical education influence?

this is definately trance, one one suggestion:

use a much stronger, more powerfull kick drum.

it will help the track alot.

besides that, this is a very good track, I like it.

yeah it is a definitely a good trance track and would be even better if you used a more powerful kick like the dude mentioned. Also, I would maybe do something a little different with the intro of the main lead synth line.

Keep up the good work!

the strings sounded kinda weird and out of place but overall the track sounded good, use a harder drum set
